BEN
ROBERTSON – Double Bass
Ben Robertson has had extensive experience in a
wide variety of musical settings, with credits in the studio covering over 60 jazz and
commercial CD releases.
He makes regular television appearances and tours
nationally and internationally with local and international artists. He has a
harmonic and listening musician and a great asset to any ensemble both as an improvising soloist
and arranger.
Ben has performed in diverse situations with
artists such as James Morrison, and visiting artists Lee Konitz, American Broadway diva Barbara
Cook, singer Mark Murphy and has recorded CD’s with many Australian artists. Despite all this he
still regularly fantasizes about his selection in the Australian cricket team and exploring
Australia in an excitingly equipped 4WD vehicle.
